Picture It Photo Booths has two different photo booths. We have an open and closed one. They are just as they sound. The open one is good for getting big groups of people into a single shot and letting everyone at the party see the funny poses. The closed booth is good for my private photos and is easier to control the lighting. If you have an outdoor event we always recommend the enclosed booth. That way the picture looks better. But if you have an indoor event that has good lighting then it is up to you on how you want your photo booth! Our booths all use the same printer, ink, computer, camera and programming.

Looking for a unique way to make your big day a little more unforgettable and entertaining? Try renting a photo booth for your wedding. Photo Booths supply a fun and memorable way for you and your guests to interact and create amazing mementos of your special day.
Photo booths are a hot new trend for weddings. They not only provide something fun and interactive for your guests, but they are a great way to create a photo montage of your big day. Many photo booth companies provide you with a CD compilation of your day's photos, and others will even place them online for you and your loved ones to access, share, and print. Many companies offer a scrap booking option too, a must have if you want to create a detailed archive of special notes and pictures from your wedding day. Choosing the right photo booth for your wedding is a delicate process. You want someone you can trust, but you also want to make sure the photo booth you rent meets your desires. There are a few things to look for when choosing a photo booth company: Do I Want a Vintage or Digital Booth? Vintage -Some folks like the classic look and feel of a vintage photo booth. If you are looking to invoke nostalgia, a vintage booth is perfect for you. Their old school look and feel will remind you and your guests of days when these were a common site. One drawback is that they are bulky and are limited in where they can be placed. They also tend to cost somewhere in the range of $1500-$2000+ for an event. However, if you love the idea of having a classic booth and those unforgettable photo strips, then this is for you. Digital -For others who don't have their hearts set on the classic look, a digital booth may be the answer. Digital booths have the advantage of being light weight and highly mobile, and thus are cheaper, usually ranging from $1000-$1200 for an event. Additionally, these booths can create high resolution photos and can fit 8-10 people, sometimes more. If you are looking for something with a little more bang for your buck, and are willing to spare the vintage look for a more modern curtained booth design, then a digital booth may be right for you. What to Look for in a Photo Booth Company? Photo Resolution -You want to make sure that the booth you choose provides high photo resolution. This will ensure the clearest, sharpest pictures. Some companies may try to charge you extra for "high resolution" photos, but there are many companies out there that provide the same resolution or better, at no greater cost. Booth Size -Most classic booths are a little smaller inside than digital booths. Make sure you ask your classic booth provider how many people fit inside before booking with them. Typically, it's 2-4 people at a time. Digital booths have a little greater range. These booths can fit anywhere from 4 or 5, all the way to 15 people in some cases. A bigger booth usually means more money, but once again, some companies provide large booths at no greater cost than other's small booths. Photo Archive -Some Vintage and most Digital photo booth companies will provide you with a CD of all your event's photos. You can take this and copy it, print the pictures out, and share at will. This is a great benefit if your chosen company provides this service. Some companies take it a step further and offer online password-protected galleries. You and your guests can log into the gallery with your chosen password and view all your wedding images. You will all be able to share, save, and print these pictures for usually 2-3 months after your event. Booth Attendant -Some companies will offer a booth attendant to watch over your booth. The last thing anyone wants on their big day is something extra to worry about. Be sure to choose a company that provides a trained booth attendant for your event. Scrap Booking -Some companies will offer scrap booking options. Scrapbooks are a perfect match with photo booths. Most companies will offer double prints with this option and your guests can take the doubles of their pictures and add them to your book with a memorable note. This is a great way to create a special keepsake from you wedding. Choosing a photo booth company for your big day is a tough decision. Be sure you know all the facts before choosing a provider. You will find that some companies want to charge you extra for upgrades that you can find for free elsewhere. Be sure to make sure you know what you are getting for your money. Most importantly, get what you want. It's your wedding! If you are in love with the vintage booths, go ahead and choose one, even if you can't cram 10 people in there. Likewise, if you love the idea of an online gallery or a booth attendant, go for the digital booth. Either way, you are going to have hundreds of priceless memories to look at after your big day. They are the must have accessory of any event, allowing your guests to leave with a great memento of the experience. Within seconds you can capture the moment with friends and family and in most cases have props and accessories to increase the fun.
Due to the craze in the last few years, there are many companies that hire out photo booths for events. Depending on where you are based you will have multiple options on where to hire your booth from, but how do you decide? Have a look at the following information for advice on what to look for and the companies that hire them out. Type Of Booth Technological advances have allowed a photo booth to be a high tech gadget. Gone are the days of old fashioned, small singular pictures. The latest booths can include touch screen controls, high resolution digital cameras and even green screen technology to customise the background of the photos. The are many types and shapes available so please compare the booth that is being offered by a company. Often companies will have older models, offered at a reduced rate, but you do get what you pay for with photo booth technology. Themes and Accessories Companies often can alter the look of a booth around your event theme. This can be done with the outer shell of the photo booth, customised props and even the background of the photos to match the occasion. For example a common wedding them choice currently is that of a vintage wedding. A modern photo booth does not match the theme unless vintage colours and accessories can blend the photo booth in within the theme. Old fashioned bunting applied to the outer skin of the booth, classic booth props and even staff uniform will make the booth seem vintage and allow for the use of a modern accessory at the event. If you have a theme then look for a company that can style a photo booth based on your theme. Video Messaging Another great feature of a modern day photo booth is the ability to record a video message for the event host. Often controlled by the touch screen, the guest simply chooses the video message option and quickly records the message. Some booths on the market have a time limit of 10 second messages; others have no time limit on the message. If you require video messaging, please check with the company they can provide it and whether you are limited on the length of message. Cost The cost of hiring a photo booth varies based on your location and what you require from the booth. Often a company will charge you by the hour with a minimum rental period, then there may be additional charges for certain features. Do not take it for granted that the price advertised is the price you will pay, ask for a quotation for your event and be sure to explain everything you require for example green screen and a guest book for a 3 hour rental period. Customer Feedback Any good company will ask for feedback from customers and display this on their website or advertising literature. Please check through this carefully to ensure that it is genuine, if they have a gallery section look for the events that the feedback comes from. If they have a number of customer feedbacks without the galleries on the site to match then the chances are the feedback is not genuine. In Summary Take your time in choosing a photo booth and the company that hire them out. Find your local suppliers and compare them to the larger national companies and check the service offered, price and features. Send them an email or pick up the telephone and have a relaxed discussion on what they can provide for you. Then once you have collected a number of options make an informed decision based on the factors discussed here. A photo booth provides a great feature for any event and your guests will love it. Article Source: https://EzineArticles.com/expert/Philip_Michael_Green/1504020 Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/7517986 If you've been considering a photo booth at your wedding and weren't sure if it's a good idea... it is. It's trendy, fun and a good value. As a cruise director for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line I had an opportunity to observe people in a celebratory environment and was particularly tuned to what they enjoyed and how they reacted to entertainment as a group. After 3 years running a photo booth company, I am still amazed at the way people react to a photo booth at a wedding. I started to ask why!
When I first heard the idea, it sounded stupid, until I saw it with my own eyes. Sure enough, this old idea, which we would casually pass up with hardly a second glance at the mall, is breathing new life into wedding entertainment. When people get in the booth together, a spark ignites, the child within them comes out and they play behind the curtain, seeing how silly they can make the photos and laughing the entire time. It's clear to me that photo booths are the new "chocolate fountain", that is to say, a new staple of entertainment at weddings and parties. So why is it that while every person there has a phone with a camera in it, they line up to play in the photo booth?
Old and young, rich and poor, across race and religion, everyone has fun in the photo booth. Once you unleash your version of the "Roger Rabbit" on the dance floor, there's no editorial control (yikes!), but if you don't like your photos, you don't have to show anyone and you have the option to go again. Plus, each guest goes home with a wedding favor which reminds them how much fun they had at your wedding! So, a photo booth serves 3 main functions for one price: entertainment, memories and favors. That's pretty good value for your dollar. Photo booths at weddings is still a very fresh idea which is always favorable with today's brides who are looking for unique ways to entertain their guests. Every bride wants her reception to be memorable. Having a photo booth at your wedding reception will be something people enjoy and remember. However, we see a change in this trend. The new trend is installing a photo booth at events. And people prefer to hire a photo booth over professional photographers for many reasons.
To hire a good photographer you will have to spend a lot of money. An advantage of having a photo booth is that even if you have a tight budget, you will be able to click the photos of every guest. Whether it's a grand formal function like a product launch or a small private get together just for fun, it is completely essential that you get a photo booth rental to catch each one of those brilliant pictures. Let's take a peek into some of the other benefits of hiring a photo booth for your next event. Make everyone feel special Most events are incomplete without a few good photos. Be it a corporate event or a wedding, visitors will appreciate if you can give each of them a photo memento of the event, and a photo booth will make it possible. You can make each and every person who attended your event feel special. For example, in a wedding, visitors will be thankful for having their photo brought inside a corner with various types of assistants to run with the topic of the occasion. An opportunity for the guests to mix and mingle If you are organising a large gathering, not everyone attending the event will know each other. It will bring that fun element into the event. It will give your guests not only an opportunity to have fun with the people they know but will also give them a chance to interact with strangers at the party. Moreover, it gives everybody a chance to have their picture taken at the event either with the guests or hosts or both. Fix the boredom At a wedding we normally see the bride and the groom busy getting photographed by a professional photographer while all their guests will be sitting bored waiting for their turn to click snaps with the couple. When you have a photo booth your guests will be in a fun mode even before the start of the actual event. They can have all the fun while you are busy getting photographed by a professional cameraman. Add to the entertainment value of the event Photo booths come with exciting props, which are essential if you want your guests to get excited about your event. When you hire a photo booth make sure they have fake moustaches, feather wigs, and oversized hats, eyeglasses, picture frames, etc. Such props will encourage even shy guests to try out and act silly. It will add to the entertainment value of the event and your event will be the talk of the town for months or years to come. Quality photos to keep This is the age of selfies, but they cannot beat the quality of pictures captured through a DSLR. Now, there is a general misconception that pictures clicked at photo booths offer sub-standard photos, which is not at all true. There are so many photo booth companies which offer great quality services at cheap rates. They will ensure you get bright pictures on high quality paper. That way you will get the best photography experience. Not only that. By hiring it you can gift your guests a great souvenir. The high quality of photos printed at a photo booth is in no way inferior to the pictures clicked by a professional photographer. A chance to give your event more publicity To recall the best moments at an event you need good quality pictures. That is the main reason why we take pictures at any event. By hiring a photo booth you will be able to give every visitor a chance to leave the event with a specific picture, and your event will be etched in their memory forever. Your guests might even share the pictures taken at your event on social networking sites and more and more people will get to see your event. That way your event will get more publicity and could also makes personalized photographs possible at big and small events. Save every single shot Most photo booths will print pictures in a matter of seconds so there is no need for the guests to wait for their pictures. Another advantage of hiring is that you can also save every single shot into a disk and not a single shot will go waste. And you will be able to share the photos as you wish. If you request the rental company, they will even give you video snapshot presentation of all the photos. So consider all these benefits and hire a photo booth next time you plan an event. Because once you do, there is no looking back; you are going to love each and every moment. We can use photo booth in many kinds of party we held. Article Source: https://EzineArticles.com/expert/Amy_Anderson_Lee/1208391 Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/9612474 If you're shopping around for a photo booth for a wedding or other social event, you may have noticed there are now two radically different types available. There's the traditional arcade style booth, with a bench, a roof and privacy curtains. But there's also a new open design photo booth. The open layout booth ditches the classic boxed-in look, in favor of just having a camera facing a backdrop. Both of these configurations have their pros and cons.
The open booths have two primary benefits. First, larger group shots. Since there is not a limiting little box for your guests to climb into, you can typically squeeze up to 10 people in a group shot. Large group shots are much more fun to take, and create better photographic memories. Secondly, the fun is kept out in the open so everyone can see and participate. The laughter created by 10 people trying to squeeze into a group shot is absolutely contagious. Open booths are typically much easier to transport and can often go where arcade style booths can't. The second floor of a building with no elevator, for example. The trade off is that the open design doesn't look like a traditional photo booth. In fact, it's not a booth at all, even though they call it one. They are also not recommended for outdoor events in the sunlight, unless arrangements are made to block the sunlight. Photos will be inconsistent throughout the day, and some photos may look very bad if direct sunlight is shining on the subjects. There is still something to be said for the classic arcade style booths. Some people just prefer the nostalgia of an arcade booth. There's no mistaking the signature look of an enclosed booth with privacy curtains. Oh, and about those curtains, if you think some of your guests would like to pose au natural after a few libations, then the enclosed arcade booth is definitely for you! Arcade booths can also be a better choice if there are space concerns, as they have a much smaller footprint than the area taken up by an open photo booth. The arcade style booth is highly recommended for outdoor events when sunlight may be a factor. Since they are enclosed, there is a much more controlled environment to take consistent photos for the duration of the event. Of course the downside is that the typical arcade photo booth will only fit 2-4 guests at a time. Be on the lookout for the latest in technology, live video recording. Some booths will offer your guests the option to record a short video for the guest of honor after they have posed for their photo strip. This is what wedding videographers used to go table to table to do. But doing the video in the booth affords the guest some privacy, and since it is optional, no one is put on the spot and made to feel uncomfortable. The downside of the video photo booth is that it may take longer to get guests in and out of the booth. It is recommended that if you rent a photo booth with video capability, you reserve it for a longer period of time than you would a regular photo booth. You want all your guests to have the opportunity to use the booth. Some vendors will also rent you a second booth for your event at a significant discount since two booths side by side will typically still only require the watchful eyes of one attendant. Which ever style you decide on, shop a few companies. Try to base your decision on the entertainment value the booth will provide to your event. Be sure to check with your venue too. Most catering managers have seen photo booths in their venue and they may have some thoughts about what works best for their particular location. Article Source: https://EzineArticles.com/expert/Tim_English/931137 Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/5870750 It's the new thing at every wedding. They are the life of the party. Maybe you've seen one on the Keeping up with the Kardashians, the movie Beaches, or have experienced your own at the mall or a recent wedding reception. Photo booths are where it's at when it comes to bringing life and a whole lot of fun to any event. This isn't your average, back in the day, type of photo booth. I am talking about a portable, open air, fun, and exciting state of the art high tech photo booth. The trend is growing, giving brides and corporations a way to make their wedding and event special and fun for all.
WHY RENT A PHOTO BOOTH Not everyone is the same. Believe it, or not, there are people who don't like to partake in dancing at wedding receptions. Up until only a few years ago, the standard 4 shot strip of photos has captured the hearts of so many, preserving memories like no other photographer. The entertainment value is one to be cherished and honored. Giving your event guests an opportunity to let loose and get goofy with silly props and close family and friends, creates an environment for people to be who they are and play without feeling ostracized or self-conscious. There is something for everyone. It appeals to all generations of people. It is enjoyable for everyone. Adding props, video, and sound only adds more fun to the event and guests are more than likely to let their guard down and truly enjoy themselves, giving more room for fun, spontaneous pictures. There is something truly special about creating an environment for people who to feel they can let goand really enjoy a their photo booth experience. Everyone loves seeing their photos once they are printed out. The anticipation of it can seem intense with excitement. Everyone loves seeing their photos after they are done. Many rental companies give options for allowing a special logo to be printed on the prints giving your guests a memorable keepsake to remember the event. This gives a great alternative to the need for multiple disposable cameras placed on the table and also provides much more interesting and a better quality of pictures. The Bride and Groom, and/or event host/ess, is usually provided with their own collection of all of the photos that were taken by way of a disc, photo book and/or through online access through social media (such as Facebook and Twitter) or on companies business website. Not only does this give the host/ess a look at all of the fun their guests were having, but it captures those rare moments when family and friends, who are not often together, connect and make precious memories through the fun of the photo booth experience. WHAT TO LOOK FOR Not all booths were created the same and not all companies offer the same pricing. Some companies provide only the service of photos being taken, while others may offer photo books and/or real time emails and social networking to help companies brand their name into the social networking world. There are a select few businesses out there where this is their primary business, however, for most this is a side business that has been added to other services like dj's, photographers, and other event rental companies. While this gives way for many people to rent a photo booth, it is important to define which features you want to include and will give you more value at your event. Compare several photo booth companies and make sure to ask plenty of questions. You do not want to be disappointed with your photo booth experience, whether that is price and/or the experience. Ask around and see who other bridal couples or organization have used and why, or why not, you would want to use the same company. Appearance - There are many different layouts of companies offer. There are booths, tents, kiosks, boxes, and even photo booth pods. Some photographers will set up a few couches, a bouquet of flowers, and a provide a few props and just take your picture, and call that a photo booth. It is imperative that you see exactly what the photo booth looks like BEFORE you commit to your rental company. If there is not a picture of their set up on their website, it probably with good reason. While a cheaper rate might be better for your budget, keeping aware with what the photo booth will look like at your event will prevent any 'surprises' the day of. Many people put hard work into their wedding reception and/or corporate events and last minute surprises and failed expectations are can spoil their special day. Functions - Each company will have different functions within their photo booth. As stated above, not every photo booth is created equal. Every company will have different functions to make their photo booth stand out amongst their competition. Do your research and find out what is available and decide which functions and features will be best for your event. Again, ask questions. Ask what special features each company has to offer you. Ask what special features come with their booth. For example do they offer a scrapbook table where your guests can use a 2nd copy of prints to cut up and paste onto a scrapbook for the bride and groom, or guest of honor? Does the company provide props or are you in charge of providing these for your guests? Does the photo booth have video capabilities? If not is the price worth it? Also ask how many photos it takes. Decide how many photos you'd like and ask if they can change their settings to provide you with what you're wanting. Usually photo booth strips and/or 4×6 prints come with 3 or 4 photos along with a custom logo. Ask if you can have single or double prints, and what the difference in cost will be. What kinds of background options to they provide, and are they willing to give you room to create your own? Most important of all, be sure to view prints taken from prior events. This is what you will be given to remember the event by, and the better quality and more you like, the better. Pricing and Packages -Each company provides different services and each will offer many different extras for their specific price, along with their basic photo booth rental. Some will up-sell from a menu of different options, while other are all-inclusive. In my opinion, no matter the cost, the person renting the photo booth should be given the digital copies from their event, at no extra charge. A key feature of renting a photo booth should be that all of the photos taken at your event are included and should be yours to keep. However, if you absolutely love the company that you've chosen and are willing to pay the extra charge, then that is up to you. Location plays a huge factor in pricing. A photo booth rental company in a big city will charge a lot more than a more rural smaller city, so keep this in mind when contacting these companies. Travel costs on top of regular rates can be costly as well. When choosing factor in the booth design, number of hours, and special functions, or key features. Do not assume these are the same for each rental company. Article Source: https://EzineArticles.com/expert/Anna_K_Vietti/1429862 Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/7317709 You've seen them in movies, at Vegas Casinos, Disneyland, anywhere there is fun happening! Now, on the most fun day of your life, you too can have your own photo booth. Yes, photo booths are a hot item at finer weddings today. This trend is growing as brides look for ways to make their wedding reception special and fun for all.
Part 1 - WHY A PHOTO BOOTH? For over 100 years the traditional four-shot photo strip has captured and preserved unique memories like no other photographic product. In addition to capturing memories, its real value is as a form of entertainment. Not everyone likes to dance at a wedding reception; goofing off in a photo booth provides just enough privacy to allow people to loosen up and play without feeling self-conscious. What's more, its appeal is cross generational; everyone enjoys it! If the booth has a gimmick like props, green screen or the booth speaks to them, visitors are much more likely to let their guard down. This makes for more spontaneous pictures. There is just something about getting shoulder-to-shoulder behind a curtain which creates a sense of camaraderie and fun, where people feel they can let go a little and enjoy a shared experience. As the photo strip prints out, everyone loves seeing themselves. Most companies include the name and date of the couple at the top of each photo strip so each goes home with a keepsake of the wedding. In many ways this replaces the need for cameras on the tables and usually provides much better and more interesting pictures. The Bride and Groom typically get a collection of all photos taken by way of a photos disc, photo book or through online access. Not only does this offer them a look at how much fun their guests were having, but it captures those rare moments when family and friends, who are not often together, intermingle through the fun of the photo booth. Part 2 - HOW TO SHOP FOR A PHOTO BOOTH? First understand that not all booths are created equal. There is a large range in pricing, which is usually (but not always), an indicator of quality. A select few are full-time businesses, but for most this is a side business. While this means that there is a photo booth for every budget, to avoid being disappointed it is important that you define which features YOU feel are most valuable and that you compare several companies and ask plenty of questions. Here are some differences to ask about:
Part 3 - HOW TO USE A PHOTO BOOTH FOR A WEDDING? Place the photo booth in an area of the reception where it will not interfere with other events like the cake cutting or dancing. It should be easily accessible, but out of the way of the action and service staff. As is true with a wedding DJ, 4 hours of photo booth entertainment is usually just right. I recommend starting the booth during the cocktail hour. This gives people something fun to do and they become aware of the booth which will draw them back throughout the evening. Unlike the dance floor, the photo booth will attract guests throughout the dinner hour. After dinner there is usually a surge at the booth, so starting your 4 hours at cocktail hour gets the most out of your photo booth. Generally in the last hour of a reception more interest in focused on the DJ and the dance floor. If traffic to the booth is slow, a simple announcement from the DJ will usually get things going. Not all booths look like a typical photo booth so guests might not be clear what it is. Once invited, it's usually a big hit! SUMMARY Photo booths are fun, they make people laugh and provide everyone with valuable memories! Informed shopping requires a little buyer knowledge and some comparison. If you are working with a planner, be sure and let her know your interest in a photo booth and get her opinion as to which companies she is comfortable recommending. Rest assured that whether your focus is on quality of photos, appearance of the booth, entertaining features, price or a combination thereof, there is a solution out there which is just right for you. Be informed about what you are buying and be sure that you are comfortable with the professionals you've chosen to hire, and you'll have a great experience with your photo booth! For years to come, you and your guests will treasure your special day each time they run across their photo strips. Rent a photo booth today!
